Aimed at providing credit to urban and rural poor for setting up micro-enterprises.
Self Employment Program — Individual (SEP-I)
- • Individual loan up to ₹2,00,000
- • Interest rate capped at 7% p.a.
- • Repayment period of 5–7 years
- • For setting up micro-enterprises in manufacturing or service sectors
Self Employment Program — Group (SEP-G)
- • Group loan up to ₹10,000,000
- • Capped 7% interest rate with subvention
- • For groups of minimum 3 members
- • Repayment tenure of 5–7 years
SHG Bank Linkage
- • Bank credit link for rural Self Help Groups
- • Cash Credit (CC) limit based on corpus size
- • Additional 3% interest subvention for rural SHGs
- • Facilitated by NABARD and State Livelihood Missions
Eligibility Criteria
- Urban poor (identified by ULBs) or rural poor households (identified via SECC data).
- Minimum age of 18 years at registration.
- For SEP-G: Group must have minimum 3 members, with 70% from poor families.
- Proprietorship, partnership, or Self Help Group entities.
